Job Title: Head of Sales - Solar Distribution

Location: Poland (Flexible within major cities)

My client is a leading distributor of solar energy products across Europe, committed to accelerating the transition to renewable energy. Their extensive portfolio includes top-tier solar panels, inverters, and mounting systems, sourced from world-renowned manufacturers. With a robust supply chain and an established presence in Poland, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead their sales operations and drive growth in this key market.

Position Overview: As the Head of Sales - Solar Distribution, you will be responsible for leading their sales strategy in Poland, managing a high-performing sales team, and expanding their market share in the solar distribution sector. This senior role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the solar market, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve market penetration and revenue growth in Poland.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, ensuring high levels of performance and professional development.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with key clients, including installers, EPCs, and commercial partners.
  • Oversee the negotiation and closing of high-value contracts, ensuring alignment with company profitability goals.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company objectives.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic insights to the senior leadership team.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness and strengthen industry connections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, renewable energy, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with at least 1 years in a leadership role within the solar or renewable energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the solar distribution market, including key players, products, and technologies.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive a sales team to success.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
